This Resolution enters into force on the day after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Résumé

This Resolution is composed of 7 articles. Articles 1 and 2 define sanitary requirements and conditions for places designated for smoking in restaurants, in particular: smoking areas should be clearly marked and not more than fifty percent of the total area of restaurants; smoking areas should be isolated from non smoking areas; and, provided with air conditioning and ventilators. Article 3 prohibits the presence of minors in smoking areas. Article 4 decrees the ban on smoking in restaurants not provided with smoking areas. Article 5 gives restaurant’s owners 6 months from the date of publication of this Resolution in the Official Gazette to regulate their positions. Article 6 contains offences and penalties.
