Résumé This Resolution is composed of 11 articles: vaccination against foot-and-mouth disease of all imported animals for slaughter: (bovines, sheep, goats and swine) is to be carried out on the boat before entry into Lebanon (art. 1); vaccination must be done by veterinarians authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture (art. 2); importer must be provided with the disinfestation certificates from the carriers issued by the competent authority of the country of origin (art. 3); disinfestation with Formalin of all means of transport of animals (art. 4); importers must disinfect the cattle pen with Formalin and lime as per the directives issued by the Department of Animal Resources (art. 6); animals must be placed in quarantine for 5 days after vaccination (art. 7); slaughtering is to be done in authorized slaughterhouses (art. 8).
