Résumé

This Resolution is composed of 7 articles. Article 1 declares the zones cultivated with wheat, olives, almonds, apples, citrus fruits, peanuts and vegetables located in the province of Tartoos to be protected areas. These areas shall be subject to pest, blight and disease fighting. Farmers and tillers, in cooperation with party organizations, popular organizations and the Administrative Authorities, shall be informed when and how to carry out operations to fight pests and diseases (art. 2). The Inquiry and Fighting Units may effect the fighting operations at the expense of non-attendant's farmers (art. 3). The competent Agriculture Bank and Agricultural Department in the province of Tartoos shall provide the necessary equipment, materials and instruments for fighting pests and diseases according to the instructions issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation and by the Tartoos Department (arts. 4 and 5). Article 6 provides for the establishment of a committee, formed by experts and specialists, which shall carry out, supervise and control of fighting operations (art. 6).
