Résumé This Resolution approves the Policy on Traditional Medicine and its Implementation Strategy. This Policy aims to integrate health practices and traditional medicines into the National Health System. The Government's mission, through the Ministry of Health, is to ensure the safe and sustainable practice of medicine. The general objective is to integrate the traditional medicine System into the National Health System in order to guarantee primary, safe and quality health care to the entire population. The specific objectives are: promote the development of traditional medicine and other forms of alternative medicine; prioritize and develop research in the field of traditional medicine; promote the safe and sustainable use of traditional medicine, mainly in primary health care; encourage the education and training of traditional healers and conventional health personnel; promote analysis leading to the recognition of knowledge of traditional medicine that favors its legal framework, and of intellectual property rights, including those of indigenous communities; ensure the protection of biodiversity, etc. Texte intégral Portugais Site web www.legis-palop.org
