Résumé

This Resolution CONAREDD+ defines the distribution of limits for get payments for the results of reducing emissions from deforestation in the Amazon biome. It provides for the distribution of payment capture limits for the results of reducing emissions from deforestation in the Amazon biome achieved by Brazil in accordance with the guidelines of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. These limits for capturing payments will be distributed between the Federal Government and the following States: Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima and Tocantins. The distribution of limits for capturing payments for the results of reducing emissions from deforestation in the Amazon biome does not generate ownership or guarantee of revenue. 40% of the total results will be allocated to the Federal Government in reducing emissions from deforestation and for its efforts to conserve native forests in Conservation Units and Indigenous Lands. To the listed States 60% of the total results will be allocated, to be distributed based on two criteria: 1. area of native forest, including in Conservation Units and Indigenous Lands; and 2. reduction of deforestation.
