Résumé This Resolution, consisting of 12 articles and 3 Annexes, creates the methodology for calculating the degree of environmental impact and fixes the value for environmental compensation. It approves the methodology for calculating the degree of environmental impact, aiming to establish criteria for valuation of compensation (if obtained funds to be invested in the Conservation Units of Integral Protection) focusing on environmental licensing of significant impact on the implementation of projects throughout the state Ceará. Annex I specifies criteria for the above mentioned calculation. If environmental activities affect specific conservation units or their buffer zones, licences may be issued only upon authorization of the competent agency.
