Republican Resolution No. 26 of 1993 issuing the Regulation for the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources.

This resolution is composed 4 Sections divided into 36 articles. Section I deals with general duties of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources which are to: purpose and lay down plans and programmes in agricultural production field and rural development; purpose legislation regulating agricultural sector; purpose water policy and legislations; encourage and develop the economy; encourage and regulate investment in fields of agricultural; satisfy citizens needs of agricultural products; prepare technical studies of agricultural projects; lay down the marketing and storage policy; exploit agricultural lands; establish laboratories research centres; lay down the agricultural guidance; reclaim and reform lands; classify agricultural lands; establish and to maintain irrigation installations and equipment; modernize agricultural equipment and instruments; create forests and grazing lands. Management and internal organization of the Ministry is contained in Section III. General provisions are given in Section IV.
