Résumé

This Act concerns labelling of consumer commodities in Palau. "Consumer commodity" means a food, drug, harmful chemical or biological substance (defined), or cosmetic product and any other article, product, or commodity of any kind or class which is customarily produced or distributed for sale through retail sales agencies or instrumentalities for consumption by individuals, or use by individuals for purposes of personal care or in the performance of services ordinarily rendered within the household. The Act prescribes content of a label in general and provides with respect of local relabelling of imported goods. The Bureau of Customs & Border Protection shall promulgate Regulations with respect to any consumer commodity as defined by this Act.
