Résumé These Regulations concern the application sphere of the Act relative to food hygiene issues in relation with foodstuffs of animal origin, give definitions, assign tasks of supervision and control to certain public bodies and regulate notification and bookkeeping duties of food production premises. Sections 2 to 5 limit the application sphere of the Act with respect to food produced for private use by the producer (sect. 2), with respect to meat (sect. 3), fish and fish products (sect. 4), and meat and eggs (sect. 50). The Veterinary Drugs and Food Office shall be the central supervisory authority for matters regarding foreign substances in food and control of slaughterhouses. Notification and bookkeeping duties exist for food premises, first place of arrival (defined), and with respect to diseased animals and treatment of animals.
