Résumé This Regulation, as for the purposes of the Bulgarian Law on livestock, determines the task and duties among other general issues as regards the functioning of the Bulgarian National Council for Genetic Resources in Animal Husbandry, aimed also at assisting the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Forestry in the implementation of the state policy in the field of animal husbandry. The National Council shall perform its functions by sections as follows: 1. section "Cattle breeding"; 2. section "Buffalo breeding"; 3. section "Sheep breeding"; 4. section "Goat breeding"; 5. section "Pig breeding"; 6. section "Horse breeding"; 7. Poultry section; 8. section "Beekeeping"; 9. section "Endangered breeds"; 10. section "Cynology" - for dogs of breeds with agricultural purpose - Bulgarian Shepherd Dog and Karakachan Dog; 11. section "Rabbit breeding".
