Résumé This Regulation (for the purpose of article 9 of the national Law on forest reproductive material, which sets rules aimed to provide the starting material for the production of the selected and other reproductive material of known origin of forest trees) establishes the region of provenance of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) in western Serbia. The region of white pine provenance in western Serbia is marked with registration number 71. The region of white pine provenance in western Serbia includes the areas of forests and forest land covered by the following borders: the state border with Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina in the southwest and west to Loznica in the north; then on the regional roads Loznica - Osecina - Valjevo - Lajkovac - Brajkovac - Arandjelovac - Topola - Zabare - Raca - Markovac; then along the river Velika Morava over Ćuprija, Paraćin to Stalać; from Stalac along the river Juzna Morava to Aleksinac, Vladicin Han, Vranje and Bujanovac; from Bujanovac by the river Moravica to Preševo; then regionally to the state border with the Republic of Macedonia. The region of white pine provenance in western Serbia is located between 42º17'35 "and 44º34'21" north latitude and 19º14'51 "and 22º08'10" east longitude, at altitudes from 30 m to 1,720 m.
