Résumé This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 14 articles, lays down the duties of legal and natural persons relating to the use of plant protection products. Such use includes controlling pests on non-agricultural land (rail facilities, airports, highways etc), treatment and disinfection of planting seeds. The user must respect the principles of good agricultural practices, environmental protection, integrated pest management and other procedures designed to ensure that the minimum use of pesticides does not cause excessive environmental pollution. The user must ensure that plant protection products do not come into direct contact with humans or with rivers, lakes and other water, ground water, facilities for drinking water, neighboring crops, land and storage of agricultural products, storage facilities and processing plants, facilities for breeding and care of animals, if such use may endanger the health of humans or animals.
