This Decree enters into force on 1 November 2012.
Résumé

This Regulation of the Government, which is composed of 10 articles and three Annexes, implements the relevant European Union regulations and lays down sustainability criteria for biofuels, requirements for quality system and system of mass balance. Biofuels meet sustainability criteria, if: (a) show savings of greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with art. 3; (b) biomass used for their production meets requirements set out in art. 4-7; (c) biomass used to produce biofuel was grown in accordance with requirements and standards specified in art. 6 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 73/2009 establishing common rules for direct support schemes for farmers under the common agricultural policy and establishing certain support schemes for farmers, amending Regulations (EC) No. 1290/2005, (EC) No. 247/2006, (EC) No. 378/2007 and repealing Regulation (EC) No. 1782/2003. Biofuels made ??from waste or residues that come from agriculture, aquaculture, fisheries or forestry, meet sustainability criteria if they show savings of greenhouse gas emissions according to art. 3.
