State veterinary supervision over radiation safety of agricultural commodities shall oversee: (a) fulfilment of measures for the prevention, reduction and mitigation of consequences of radioactive pollution of agricultural commodities, animals and poultry; (b) observance of veterinary requirements during processing, storage, recycling, import, export and transit of radioactively polluted animal products and animal feedstuffs; (c) observance of veterinary requirements in organization of farms and subsidiary small-holdings on territories damaged by nuclear disaster; and (d) observance of veterinary, sanitary and hygienic requirements regarding radioactive substances in agricultural commodities and animal feedstuffs in order to ensure their safety for human and animal health.
