Résumé

State nature reserve of federal significance "Tsasucheisky Bor" is a unique natural complex and is intended to preserve an integral forest biogeocenosis in the steppe zone of South-Eastern Transbaikalia, its flora and fauna. Management regime of the reserve does not envisage expropriation of land plots from landowners (land tenants). The objectives of the reserve shall be as follows: (a) preservation of the integral forest complex and its monitoring; (b) conservation and restoration of the number of species of animals and plants that are economically, scientifically and aesthetically valuable, as well as rare and endangered biological species and their gene pool; and (c) maintaining an overall ecological balance. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of the reserve: (a) plowing of land; (b) final felling and procurement of resin; (c) application of pesticides, plant protection chemicals and growth stimulants; (d) construction of buildings and structures, roads and pipelines, power lines, and other communications, except for biotechnical work, fire-prevention measures and the construction of office buildings; (e) conducting irrigation and drainage activities, geological exploration and development of minerals; (f) movement and parking of motor vehicles outside public roads; (g) all types of hunting, except for shooting ungulates for scientific and regulatory purposes; and (h) all types of pollution from household and industrial waste.
