State nature reserve “Kostomukshskiy” shall be located in the Republic of Karelia. Reserve shall have the following purposes: (a) conservation of biological diversity, and ecosystem preservation; and (b) conservation and study of natural processes and phenomena. The following activities shall be prohibited on the territory of reserve: (a) all types of hunting; (b) any activity that can cause modification of the existing hydrological regime of soil; (c)all types of grazing and haymaking; (d) construction; (e) application of chemicals and fertilizers; (f) procurement of non-timber forest products; (g) introduction and acclimatization of living organisms; and (h) all types of hunting and fisheries.
