Résumé This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of eight articles, lays down the manner of carrying out and financing of regular official veterinary checks in the holdings of the origin of animals and animal products intended for trade, in accordance with Council Directive 90/425/EEC concerning veterinary and zootechnical checks applicable in intra-Community trade in certain live animals and products with a view to the completion of the internal market. Veterinary checks under these rules must be carried out in holdings where cattle, swine, sheep and goats, equine, domestic birds, lagomorphs and farmed game are intended for transportation or trade and which are used for the production of food or whose products are intended for food production in order to place food on the market. The costs of these veterinary inspections are reimbursed from the budget of the Republic of Slovenia.
