Résumé This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 25 articles and two Annexes, lays down the procedure and method of testing the distinctness, uniformity and stability of new varieties of plants. In particular, seed material for distinctness, uniformity and stability must be grown in the previous growing season and must ensure the quality and health status. Testing methods are based on observation and assessment needed to measure certain characteristics of the variety. Due to environmental factors, which may have different impact on change of genetically determined qualitative and quantitative traits, generally identified are characteristics to which environmental factors influence is the minimal.
