This Regulation entered into force on 19 December 2003.
Résumé

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food lays down methods for monitoring performance and other characteristics and methods for assessing the genetic value of pure-bred and hybrid breeding pigs. Organizations dealing with animal husbandry are obliged to keep the database on production and other characteristics of animals and this Regulation provides details on the collection of such data and method of data exchange. This Regulation is composed of 14 articles divided into the following Sections: General provisions (Sec. 1); Methods for monitoring performance and evaluation of production and other characteristics of pigs (Sec. 2); Methods for assessing the genetic value of pure-bred and hybrid breeding pigs (Sec. 3); Collection of data on production and other characteristics and method of data exchange (Sec. 4); Final provision (Sec. 5).
