Among other things, the Regulations sets rules on the requirements for registration of facilities, including application procedures; storage and use; repackaging of pre-packed foods; transport of food; food of animal origin; dairy products; retail; etc. In addition to what is stated in Article 6 (2) of Regulation (EC) No 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs, food business operators must ensure that their establishments are registered if they carry out any of the following activities: 1. activities covered by the Swedish Food Agency's regulations on drinking water; 2. preparation, treatment or processing of "snus" or chewing tobacco.
