Résumé

The Regulation provides for the reduction and eradication of bovine tuberculosis. In particular, only authorized veterinarians may examine and detect infected cows. All livestock suffering from tuberculosis should be marked to be distinguishable. The owner of cows with brucellosis are obliged to keep the ill animals separate from others and send them to slaughterhouses in due time. The Iran Veterinary Organization shall pay compensation to all farmers who suffered losses. The Regulation consists of 32 articles subdivided into nine Chapters: Definitions (I); Initial Actions (II); Identification of Animals with Bovine Tuberculosis (III); Slaughterhouses (IV); Compensation (V); Health Certification (VI); Health and Quarantine Regulations (VII); Incentives (VIII); Miscellaneous Provisions (IX).
