Résumé This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Croatian Law on radiological and nuclear safety, determines the content, conditions, criteria and manner of approving the remediation plan in the event of radioactive contamination of environment, premises, surfaces, objects and persons. The plan for remediation of the environment contaminated with radioactive substances shall be prepared for each location separately, in accordance with reference levels prescribed by a special regulation determining radiation limits, recommended dose limit and assessment of personal radiation, applying the principle of justification and optimizations taking into account the future purpose of the site. This text transposes the provisions of the Council Directive 2013/59/Euratom laying down basic safety standards for protection against the dangers arising from exposure to ionising radiation, and repealing Directives 89/618/Euratom, 90/641/Euratom, 96/29/Euratom, 97/43/Euratom and 2003/122/Euratom.
