Seeds of varieties and hybrids of varieties and hybrids shall be subject to evaluation for compliance with the requirements of this Regulation. Seeds and planting material of varieties and hybrids included in the State Register of varieties and hybrids of sugar and fodder beet varieties and hybrids authorized for use in the Kyrgyz Republic, and their components their components, as well as varieties and hybrids and their components grown for export shall be subject to mandatory conformity assessment. The document confirming the quality of seeds for their intended use shall be certificate of seed conditionality. This Regulation is not applicable to seeds used or intended for use in the breeding of new varieties and hybrids, research or experimental purposes. Conformity assessment shall be performed by the authorized institution for inspection and approval of seeds and planting material. Seed crops subject to certification within one month after completion of sowing or planting must be registered with the authority exercising state control, inspection and approbation of seed material. Seed lot shall be intended a certain number of seeds, homogeneous in origin, varietal and sowing qualities, for which seeds are certified as being of the same origin, variety and quality. Heterogeneity of a lot is not allowed. The identity of the seeds must be maintained during their cultivation as well as after the seeds have been harvested, cleaned, and packaged.
