Résumé

This Regulation, as in accordance with provisions of the Serbian Law on waste management, prescribes the conditions, manner and procedure for the management of waste oils that are unusable for the purpose for which they were originally intended. The provisions of this text do not apply to the management of waste oils containing halogens, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polychlorinated terphenyls (PCTs) or pentachlorophenols above 50 mg/kg of waste oil. Waste oil management is a set of measures that include the collection, sorting, transport, storage and treatment of waste oils or disposal of waste or residues after related treatments. Waste oil management shall be carried out in a manner and according to a procedure that will not pose a risk of water, soil or air pollution, all in order to protect human health and environment. Waste oil treatment processes for reuse and regeneration have priority over use for energy purposes or other appropriate treatment processes.
