This Regulation entered into force on 12 June 2010.
Résumé

This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of 17 articles, lays down conditions and methods of voluntary labeling of agricultural products and foodstuffs, the method of conformity assessment and registration of voluntary labeling of agricultural products and foodstuffs. Voluntary labeling are markings of specific properties, methods of production and processing, and other properties of food in addition to mandatory labeling. An application for approval of voluntary labeling should be addressed to the designated organization for the control and certification, and must include identification data of the applicant, registration number of the business entity and proposal of voluntary labeling and conditions of use. Voluntary labeling of food should be in Slovenian language, easily visible, understandable, unambiguous, clearly legible and indelible and may not be hidden or confusing.
