Résumé This Regulation lays down the procedures and principles regarding the fulfillment of the activities to be carried out by the Climate Change Presidency, and provisions on the duties and jurisdictions of the service units, and the organizational structure and work. Article 5 sets out the duties and powers of the Climate Change Presidency, such as taking measures against the impacts of climate change and depletion of the ozone layer; monitoring, controlling and reporting greenhouse gas emissions on a national scale; determining green development policies and combating climate change in line with the net zero emission target and the principle of circular economy; conducting risk assessment studies and preparing risk maps; managing the revenues from the emission trading system, greenhouse gas monitoring, reporting and verification system and other carbon pricing tools; conducting research for technologies and innovative solutions on climate change; and carrying out training and capacity building activities to raise public awareness in the field of climate change.
