Résumé

The present document has been elaborated and developed on the basis of the System of certification of foodstuffs and food raw materials within the framework of State Certification System (GOST) and establishes regulations for compulsory certification of fish, fish products and seafood (referred to in the text as fish products) in accordance with two forms: 1. in accordance with Certification System of State Standards of Russia (GOST R); 2. in accordance with the Regulation on certification of produce on the basis of the use of the application-declaration of the manufacturer. Fish products are sub-divided into two groups: with the expiration date (storage, trade) up to 30 days inclusive (perishables) and over 30 days (long-term preservation). Compulsory certification of fish products must be carried out in the following manner: 1. for long-term preservation products either in accordance with any certification schemes currently in force (II-V, VII) or in accordance with the issue 1.2 of the present document; 2. for perishables in accordance either with the scheme V or in accordance with application-declaration of the manufacturer in accordance with the issue 1.2 of the present document. The grounds for issuing compliance certificate in case of the use of the schemes II-IV, VII are: a). protocol of certification testing carried out in an accredited laboratory with the consideration of the requirements envisaged by the Annex 2 to the present document; b). hygienic certificate; c). veterinary certificate; d). documents or application-declaration confirming compliance of raw materials, auxiliary materials and components of formulae (in case of necessity) with safety requirements; e). documents confirming compliance of package with the normative requirements. The grounds for issuing compliance certificate envisaging manufacturing certification and (or) system of quality certification, in addition to issue 8.1 of the present document: a). certification document regarding manufacturing and (or) quality system; b). for raw fish, cooled fish, refrigerated fish – documentation confirming the state of water basin (fishing area) in the period of fishing season (expeditionary period) and fish feed (for fish-farming in the inner water basins) and protocols of testing carried out by inspection of the state of water basin (fishing area) and raw fish.
