Individuals and companies interested in the production of bumble bees shall prepare a project defining the capacity, production stages, investment resources and the source of the production technology. Projects shall be then evaluated by the General Directorate of Agricultural Production and Development and production licenses thus granted to eligible companies. Bumble bee production shall take palce in dedicated premises. Bumble bees could be imported in accordance to valid importation rules, technical arrangements, and standardization regime. Exportation is permitted only for bees produced under these technical conditions. Local branches of The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs are authorized to inspect the produced bumble bees, bee hives, and all kinds of related materials. Local branches of The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs will be notified of any disease occurrence and in case the disease is within the category of notifiable diseases, the provisions of the Law on Animal Health and Enforcement Agency apply.
