Résumé This Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Food, which is composed of nine articles and three Annexes, lays down animal health requirements for the importation and transit of ungulates. These provisions apply to cloven-hoofed animals specified in Annex 1. The following conditions must be satisfied for the importation and transit through the European Community of cloven-hoofed animals: (a) ungulates come from approved third countries; (b) specific animal health conditions for importation or transit are met, (c) the third country provides statutory guarantees (d) consignment is accompanied by the veterinary certificate that meets conditions specified in art. 7 of this Regulation.
