Résumé This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Law on rescue and protection in emergency situations of the Republika Srpska, prescribes the obligations and determines the method of informing and alerting the population, defines warning signs, procedures and means for alerting and informing, and sets rules regarding the actions of citizens in case of danger. In the event of the occurrence of a danger or the occurrence of a certain natural disaster and other accident that may threaten the life and health of people, material goods and the environment, the population is informed and alerted in order to take timely protection and rescue measures and tasks. The warning signs prescribed by this text are unique for the territory of the Republic of Srpska and they shall be used in the manner and under the conditions also here established (see Annex for technical details and samples of such alert signs).
