This Regulation enters into force from the date of issuance.
Résumé

This Regulation establishes that the official name of the register is the State Register of Feedingstuffs, the chief processor of the register is the Ministry of Agriculture and the authorised processor of the register is the Veterinary and Food Board. The purpose of keeping the register is the collection of data and maintenance of records concerning handlers of feedingstuffs whose enterprises are approved or registered, their enterprises and the area of activity thereof, and classification of such data in order to ensure effective and efficient supervision. The register comprises: (a) registry files; (b) digital entry book; (c) digital database; and (d) registry data in the archives. If the enterprise of a handler of feedingstuffs has been approved or registered, a supervisory official shall enter the area of activity of the enterprise in the register in the form of an alpha-numerical code in the following manner: (a) A - production; (b) B - processing; (c) C - packaging; (d) D - placing on market; (e) D - transport;(f) E - storage; (g) F - production for own purposes; (h) G - import; (i) H - feeding; (j) 1 - additives in feedingstuffs; (k) 2 - certain products used in animal nutrition; (l) 3 - premixtures; (m) 4 - compound feedingstuffs; (n) 5 - medicated feedingstuffs; (o) 6 - feed materials; (p) 7 - meat-bone meal for permitted animal species; and (q) 8 - animal proteins under special permission (fishmeal, dicalcium phosphate, tricalcium phosphate, blood products and blood meal).
