Résumé The purpose of this Regulation, adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, is to: 1) reduce the number of production animals among Norwegian egg producers for a period of 12 months, and thereby; 2) to contribute to market balance in the egg market. The Regulation aims to reduce a quantity of approximately 1,500 tons of eggs, due to challenging market situation in the egg production industry characterized by egg overproduction. Producers who wish to participate in the scheme must enter into a written agreement with the market regulator under Regulation No. 1136 on Market Regulation to Promote the Marketing of Agricultural Products, where the producer commits to taking a break in egg production for 12 months. Procedural aspects of the scheme are regulated in detail, including selection criteria, requirements for submitting applications, etc. Texte intégral Norvégien Site web www.lovdata.no
