Résumé This Regulation’s purpose is to set rules to help facilitate the conservation and management of wild anadromous salmonids. NGOs, research institutions, municipalities and intermunicipal bodies may receive grants for the a) management of and information about wild salmon, sea trout and char; and b) applied research and development, and monitoring for local management of salmon and sea trout stocks. Applications for grants must be submitted electronically to the Norwegian Environment and shall be considered based on a complete operating plan demonstrating that measures involving physical interventions in nature are not in conflict with approved municipal plans or municipal decisions. The end grant of the applied subsidy shall apply to a) several specified projects; b) to technical fish stabilization measures, providing information on the area where the measure is located, including geographic locations, waterways and land category in municipal or zoning; c) to aquaculture measures and technical fish stabilization measures accompanied by a permit from the landowner, a statement from the municipality and the statement and any permission from Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate.
