This Regulation enters into force on 22 December 2006.
Résumé

The requirements for obtaining permission for conveyance to Estonia of plant protection products for research and development purposes and for the use of plant protection products for the same purposes and the procedure for application for permission and processing of applications shall be established by the Regulation. The quantity of plant protection products conveyed to Estonia shall correspond to the quantity required for research and development. Upon conveyance to Estonia of plant protection products for research and development purposes and for the use of plant protection products for the same purposes, the following shall be ensured: (a) the existence of conditions necessary for research and development on the plant protection products; (b) the appropriate training of the employees using the plant protection products; and (c) use of the plant protection products for research and development purposes. The applicant shall submit to the Plant Production Inspectorate a written application containing the following information: (a) the name, location and address, personal identification code or registry code and telecommunications numbers of the applicant for permission; (b) the name, address and registry code of the research and development institution conducting testing; (c) the name of the plant protection product and an active substance thereof, the type of effect, type of preparation and quantity of the plant protection product; (d) the name of the country of origin of the plant protection product and the name and address of the manufacturer; (e) the purpose of use of the plant protection product; and (f) the place of use of the plant protection product.
