Résumé

The Regulation provides for the importation of sheep and goats in the country: every animal shall be introduced in the country in presence of a valid import licence issued by the Authorities of Myanmar, and an extensive Veterinary certification stating their health. Moreover their areas of provenience must have been free from Rinderpest and Contagious Bovine and Caprine Pleuropneumonia (CBPP, CCPP), in the last 12 months prior to the export date. The animals must also be tested negative to CBPP and CCPP tests one month before their date of exportation. They have to be already treated with anthelmintic in order to be free from any endo- or ecto-parasite in the seven days preceding exportation. Quarantine shall cover at least 10 days from the date of arrival and shall be released only after having satisfied all veterinary assessment and tests. Quarantine and Health certificates fees shall be paid (250 kyats per animal, respectively).
