Résumé

The Regulation provides for the importation of hatching eggs and poultry/birds in Myanmar: every animal shall be introduced in the country in presence of a valid import licence issued by the Authorities of Myanmar, and a Veterinary certification including: their pedigree and certificating that they are free from any infective disease or parasitism at the time of exportation. Moreover their areas of provenience must have been free from Fowl plague, S.Pullorum and Avian Influenza and from other diseases in the last 6 months prior to the export (Section 3). Hatching eggs and poultry shall arrive from hatcheries compliant with the OIE International Animal Health Code requirements and shall be transported in unused boxes with no prior contact with any other eggs, poultry or birds whose health cannot be accounted for. Quarantine, for poultry, shall cover at least 14-30 days from the date of arrival and shall be released only after having satisfied all veterinary assessment and tests, whose fees shall be charged to the owners. Quarantine and Health certificates fees shall be paid (1 kyats per hatching eggs, respectively and 2 kyats per poultry ).
