Résumé

This Regulation establishes a European Union Programme to support measures to develop the Union's Integrated Maritime Policy. The Programme includes the allocation of financial resources as set out in the Annex. The Programme aims at: a) the development and implementation of integrated governance of maritime and coastal affairs; b) the development of knowledge on the oceans, sea and coastal regions within and bprdering the European Union; c) the promotion of the protection of the marine environment and its biodiversity; d) the development of sea basin strategies.
