Résumé

This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Serbian Law on plant protection products and in accordance with the terms provided in the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/601 of 13 April 2021 concerning a coordinated multiannual control programme of the Union for 2022, 2023 and 2024 to ensure compliance with maximum residue levels of pesticides and to assess the consumer exposure to pesticide residues in and on food of plant and animal origin, here provides for the Annual Programme of post-registration control of plant protection products for the year 2022 (full text part of the Annex). Examination of food samples of plant and animal origin for determining the presence and level of residues of plant protection products within this Annual Programme ensures the control over the application of plant protection products. This Programme contains a sampling plan, issues on type and number of samples, methods of sampling and testing, as well as measures to be taken when it is determined that certain residues of plant protection products are higher than the prescribed maximum permitted quantities. Sampling of food of plant and animal origin is carried out in warehouses for storage and distribution, in facilities for wholesale and retail sale, at primary producers and at border crossings and places of customs clearance. This Annual Programme includes tests on food of plant and animal origin, from conventional and organic production, which is produced and imported.
