Résumé This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Serbian Law on plant health, determines the contents, aims and provides for the full text of the annual programme of plant health protection measures (2021). In order to prevent the occurrence, introduction, spread and control of harmful organisms on plants, the following shall be carried out: 1) constant supervision of plants through the official process of recording, collecting and processing data on the presence or absence of harmful organisms on the basis of phytosanitary examinations, monitoring and checking health status or other procedures and on the basis of all other available sources; 2) special surveillance of harmful organisms, prescribed by this programme, which is carried out in a specified period of time, in order to detect harmful organisms or determine the characteristics of their population or determine the boundaries of the area in which they are present or absent. Special supervision over harmful organisms is performed by all authorized agricultural expert services on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The financing necessary for the conduction of control over the presence of harmful organisms (examination, sampling, trap monitoring, laboratory testing, transport of samples, quarantine area) prescribed by this programme, is provided by the law governing the budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2021.
