It provides that Environmental controllers shall, for purposes of Article 28 of the EU Regulation be accredited for the proposed tasks by the Board of Accreditation and Technical Control in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council setting out the requirements for accreditation and market surveillance relating to the marketing of products and Law (SFS 2011: 791) on accreditation and technical control. The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency is a competent accreditation body in accordance with Article 11 of Regulation (EU) No 1221/2009. The Agency may levy fees for its services.
