Hunting grounds shall be considered land and forest areas, as well as waterbodies that serve as habitats for wild animals and birds, which can be used for hunting. The hunter must have hunting association membership card and other necessary documents attesting the right to hunt and present them at the first request to persons authorized to inspect (employees of state hunting authorities, state departmental hunting supervision, protection of nature reserves, sanctuaries and other specially protected areas, fishing, sports and other assigned hunting farms, law enforcement officers, forest and fish protection, public hunting inspectors and environmental inspectors, members of specialized voluntary people's guards on nature protection) in the period of hunting, when arriving to the hunting grounds and returning therefrom, when transporting wildlife products and game, selling or delivering them to procurement organizations. When checking, the hunter is obliged to present for inspection his guns and wildlife products and game. Harmful animals subject to regulation of number thereof all the year round shall be wolf, jackal and hooded crow. Hunting association membership card with a stamp of payment of state duty and once-only hunting permit (license) shall be considered authorization for hunting and capture of wild fauna species. The period of validity of hunting association membership card shall be from the date of issuance until 31 March of the following year. The hunter is obliged to return hunting permits (licenses) at the place of issue, making a note about the results of the hunt within 5 days after the expiration date.
