Entry into force notes: This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.

Résumé: This Regional Law establishes that citizens shall have the right for timber extraction of forest species for individual personal needs in accordance with purchase and sale contract of forest species. The aforesaid timber extraction shall be considered non-commercial and non-entrepreneurial activity. Personal individual needs shall be considered procurement of fuelwood for heating, housing construction and repairs of residential and non-residential edifices. Authorized amount and rates of timber extraction shall be set forth annually. Rates of timber extraction shall be established as follows: (a) fuelwood for heating – up to 20 cubic metres annually; (b) for housing construction – up to 100 cubic metres once in 20 years; (c) for other individual personal needs – up to 10 cubic metres once in 5 years.
