Entry into force notes

This Regional Law enters into force 10 days after the date of its official publication.

Résumé

This Regional Law regulates forest relations pertaining to the competence of regional authorities. Regional Governor shall be responsible for validation of the regional forest fire extinguishment plan, Regional Administration shall be responsible for management, tenancy and disposal of public forest parcels owned by the regional administration, validation of forest fees and charges, validation of forest fire protection arrangements, Regional authorized forest institution shall be responsible for forest registration and forest inventory, validation of forest management plans, concession forest parcels pertaining to forest fund in permanent (open-ended) tenancy, limited-term forest tenancy, purchase and sale of forest species through contracts, and state forest supervision (forest guardianship). Article 7 establishes rates of timber extraction and fuelwood procurement by citizens for individual personal needs. Article 10 establishes the modalities of conclusion by citizens of contracts for timber extraction and fuelwood procurement for individual personal needs. Article 16 regulates stay of citizens in forests. Articles 17 and 18 regulate harvesting of non-timber edible and non-edible resources for individual personal needs.
