Résumé Regional executive body in the field of protection of the atmospheric air shall be vested with the following powers: (a) state monitoring of the atmospheric air; (b) protection of the population and public health in case of disasters and emergency situations related to pollution of the atmospheric air; (c) coordination of the activity of natural and legal persons in the field of protection of the atmospheric air; (d) drafting state programs for atmospheric air protection, including reduction of emissions and stimulation of manufacturing of ecofriendly fuels; (e) state supervision in the field of atmospheric air protection; (f) information of the population on the state of atmospheric air; and (g) regulation of the emissions to the atmospheric air in the period of adverse meteorological conditions.
