Résumé This Regional Law regards domestic animals that are zoological species, except for agricultural animals, that are totally or partially kept by physical or juridical persons and other organizations, including religious, animal protection organizations and institutions irrespectively of the form of property and subordination. The Regional Law establishes that utilization of domestic animals includes purchase, ownership and breeding for the satisfaction of material and spiritual needs of the man. Commercial use of domestic animals also includes stockbreeding. The Regional Law consists of 6 Sections that contain 25 articles. Section 1 (arts. 1-5) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (arts. 6-17) establishes the modalities of keeping domestic animals. Section 3 (arts. 18-21) regards registration and re-registration of dogs. Section 4 (arts. 22-23) regards organization of asylums for cats. Section 5 (art. 24) deals with legal proceedings. Section 6 (art. 25) lays down final provisions. Texte intégral Russe
