Résumé This Regional Law establishes that food security shall be reached through provision of the population with foodstuffs ensuring availability on the regional market of foodstuffs to the amount and in assortment sufficient for meeting public demand and in compliance with the established nutritional norms required for active and vital activity. The goal shall be to set forth conditions for economic accessibility of foodstuffs to all strata of the population in accordance with the established nutritional norms. Basic principles for ensuring food security shall be equal access of all producers to food market, prevention of reduction of food security level and openness of information related to the state of food market.
