Résumé This Regional Law regulates the issues of prospecting, exploration, conservation of subsoil and mining with a view of extraction of minerals. Regional Government shall perform the following plenary powers: (a) realization of state policy in the sphere of subsoil management; (b) validation of normative legal acts in the sphere of subsoil management; (c) validation of the modalities of concession of plots of subsoil for exploration, prospecting and mining; (d) setting up and keeping state geological database; and (e) validation of the modalities of issuance, registration, renewal of exploration and mining licences.
