This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Résumé

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of hunting and hunting management with a view of ensuring sustainable management of game and creation of conditions for sustainable existence of wild fauna species subject to hunting (Art. 1). Wild fauna species living on the regional territory in state of natural freedom shall be state property (Art. 4). Hunting grounds shall be classified as follows: (a) allocated to state, cooperative and social associations where hunting is authorized by hunting permits issued by the aforesaid organizations; (b) hunting grounds for common use where hunting is authorized for all hunting managers in accordance with hunting rules and regulations; and (c) areas prohibited for hunting (reserves, sanctuaries and green belts (Art. 6). Hunting grounds shall be allocated to hunting managers in accordance with contract for payment (Art. 24). Indigenous small-numbered peoples permanently living on the regional territory shall have priority rights related to traditional hunting, priority allocation of hunting grounds, preferential terms for hunting areas, hunting seasons and hunting species, and exclusive rights for hunting of specific game (Art. 30). In case of emergency situations (forest fires, environmental disasters) hunting rights can be restricted or suspended (Art. 34). Hunting grounds can be allocated in accordance with contracts (Art. 32).
