The Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Résumé

Article 2 shall change the scope establishing that the participants of the fisheries at the regional level shall be considered the Russian Federation, the Primorie Region, municipal units, legal and natural persons. Article 7 shall classify the activities in the sphere of fisheries as: (a) fisheries; (b) fish processing; (c) research; and (d) fish farming, stock enhancement and acclimatization of biological resources. Article 10 regards validation of the list of fishing areas, including defined areas of inland waters, internal sea and territorial sea. Article 11 regards the establishment of special fishing areas for the purpose of special purpose fisheries such as research. Article 12 establishes the competence of the regional authorities as regards regulation of inland fisheries.
