This Regional Law enters into force on the date of its official publication.
Résumé

This Regional Law regulates relations in the sphere of potable water supply and establishes state guarantees for ensuring of potable water supply to the population. Basic principles of potable water supply shall be: (a) priority of potable water supply to the population; (b) state supervision over potable water supply; (c) priority of the use of underground water for potable water supply; (d) protection of potable water supply sources; and (e) payment for potable water supply. Centralized potable water supply systems shall be the main means of potable water supply and must comply with potable water quality and safety standards. The state shall guarantee continuous and regular supply of the population with potable water complying with quality and safety standards. Potable water supplying organization must inform at least once in a month the population on compliance thereof with water quality and water safety standards.
